Eh, it's a bad thing–a parody of disrespect, a mixture of silent movie tics and not anything like an in-depth view of the transition from silent film sound and how it influenced many auteurs who created the independent art cinematic language.

I guess if you don't know anything about movies-silent film, it could be interesting, or if your knowledge of them is simple. Basically, the whole thing is an action, such as one student films with gimmick soft-boiled is supposed to represent filmmakers "calling card" to Hollywood. This is more interested in imitating a costume and hair-dos than have something interesting to say about the movie, or it, life.

Maybe a lot of journalists who write movie reviews without foundation that comes from seeing the film score in a youth would like this film, but many will not be real, the cognoscenti and the general public will not care about something as stuffy (and useless) like this.

Survivors of childhood cancer are not at higher risk for children with birth defects, suggests a new study.

Study of the 1,128 children 4,699 1,627 men and women who are five years of childhood cancer survivors found no increased risk of birth defects — even if cancer patients have been exposed to radiation from the testes or ovaries or chemotherapy involving DNA damage. < style "the right" = "image width: 222px" says

For the children of mothers who were exposed to radiation or chemotherapy versus those who do not have cancer as children, the prevalence of birth defects is three percent vs. 3.5 percent. For the children of men with childhood cancer, prevalence was 1.9 percent versus 1.7 percent. These differences are not seen as significant by the authors of clinical.

"Childhood cancer survivors face the real problems of reproduction, including unknown with regard to the therapeutic effect," said lead author Lisa Signorello, Professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, in a release. "Hopefully this study will provide some assurance that their children may be at increased risk for a genetic defect that originated from their earlier treatment."

There is no reason to be frightened. The dentist did not expect to make money on the windfall inevitable tooth decay. The fact is, if you are going to eat candy, often grabbing so much better for your teeth than rationing.

Slowly snacking on Halloween Candy every few hours, days, keep Your teeth enamel corroding bathed in acid, a byproduct of bacteria eat sugar and other carbohydrates in your mouth. This leads to dental caries or cavities.

For example, as far as oral hygiene goes, it is better to eat candy five at once than to eat one every few hours. In the first scenario, the acid will build in your mouth, but Your saliva will naturally neutralizes this for an hour or more. And then that acid is gone. In the second scenario, you are constantly revealing the teeth to sour the whole day, too much for saliva to wash away.

Gorging also better, because it is more likely to be followed by brushing. People, and especially children, are less likely to brush their teeth after every candy bar, especially if they are not at home.

The candy is not always the worst for your teeth, anyway. The factors that really cause cavities are sticky and acidity. Potato chips and pretzels, for example, the worse offender than chocolate, as it is cooked carbohydrates attached to teeth-gives the mouth bacteria something to feast again and thus produce more acid.

I know families who forbid their children to celebrate Halloween or going trick-or-treat for religious reasons. Isn't it Ironic "infidels" in our modern society? Call me a rebel, but I think we can say none of us are tempting in Providence when we celebrate Halloween.

We all know by now that "evil spirits" does not really exist, and there is no reason to believe our children will turn to the occult if we let them go trick-or-treating.

Most of us understand the origins of Halloween dates back more than 2,000 years ago when the Celts celebrated the end of the year on November 1. They firmly believe that on all Hallows Eve, and all Hallows day, certain rituals to be done to protect the living from the dead.

Many of the barbarous underwent rituals are done away with when Christianity gained a foothold. It's a good thing of course, but it's natural for some ancient ignorance to light elements remain, in terms of coping with, and Yes, even celebrate the unknown.

To deny a child a chance to go trick-or-treating, tell scary stories around the campfire or may even play a little Ding-dong-ditch is frightening in various ways.
